This method is specifically designed for duck fattening. The fattening house is set up near a pond to provide easy access to water for the ducks. The area is divided into several small enclosures, each measuring 48 square meters, which can accommodate around 150 ducks. The ducks are fed a balanced diet consisting of rice bran, broken rice, glutinous rice, and corn daily. They are given carbohydrate-rich feed 2-3 times a day, allowing them to eat freely. Fresh water is always available, and they are allowed to swim in the pond for short periods at regular intervals. The environment inside the house is kept quiet and dimly lit to reduce stress and promote rest. After 10-15 days of this routine, each duck typically gains between 0.25 to 0.5 kilograms. This system ensures efficient weight gain while maintaining the health and well-being of the ducks. It's an effective and practical approach for small-scale duck farming.
