Every spring and spring season is the flowering period of Phalaenopsis, but sometimes the artificially cultivated Phalaenopsis doesn't bloom at all. The reasons are:
The reason of the soil: Phalaenopsis is sour, the pH value of the best soil pH is 4.5 to 5.5. Therefore, in the daily management, special attention must be paid to the pH of the soil. Otherwise, the alkaline water will affect the absorption of root water and nutrients. Poor growth, no flowering.
Temperature reasons: Phalaenopsis grows at a temperature of 23 to 28 degrees Celsius. Only maintaining this temperature can produce good flowering.
Reasons for light: If the light is too weak, the growth of the Phalaenopsis may not be normal, and often there are many leaf buds and less flower buds.
Ventilation reasons: Phalaenopsis placed in a place with poor ventilation, easy to make plants sick, especially at flowering, easy to wither at the top of the flowering stem, resulting in yellow buds, affecting flowering, even if the flowers are already blooming are also easy to premature decline.
Reasons for fertilization: Fertilizer is too thick and can easily cause budding orchid buds to fall early. Fertilizers can be applied to nitrogenous fertilizers, but nitrogen fertilizers should be stopped during the reproductive growth period. Applying more phosphorus and potassium fertilizers can promote bud blossom.
Reasons for watering: Insufficient watering can also cause yellow leaves to affect flower bud differentiation and flowering.
