"Green disease" occurs more often in culture areas that are farther away from freshwater injection ports. The symptom is that the algae body becomes soft, the elasticity deteriorates, the glossiness disappears, the color changes from purple brown to lavender, then turns purple green, turns yellow again, and finally whitish to death. In the weather, the south wind or southwest wind is blown, and there is fog in the morning and evening. The water temperature rises, the seawater transparency increases, the light intensity becomes stronger, and the seawater nitrogen content suddenly drops (below 20 mg/m3) and other unfavorable conditions such as greening disease. Every year from October to November, there is bad water once or several times. For example, seawater is bright, causing red tides to occur, or a large amount of chemical substances causing the disease. The precautionary measure is to lift the seedling curtain off the water. If the seawater outbreak is serious, it must be lifted from the shade for several days, but generally it will not cause the death of the fronds, but it will cause a large number of diatoms and enteromorpha to die first. Avoid the damage of red tide, bad water and algae.
