Clinical trials have shown that siniton is effective in relieving pain in patients with chronic prostatitis

August 10, 2009 – New research published in a recent clinical trial has shown that Schonton significantly improves the symptoms of patients suffering from chronic prostatitis/chronic pelvic pain syndrome (CP/CPPS), which is the most common type of prostatitis. This condition is characterized by persistent genital pain and discomfort in the urinary tract, affecting millions of men worldwide. The National Institutes of Health (NIH) categorizes prostatitis into several types, with type III being the most challenging to treat due to its complex and varied causes. Because of this, conducting evidence-based studies on CP/CPPS has been particularly difficult. A recent phase III clinical trial conducted by researchers at Giessen University in Germany aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of Schonton. The study was a multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial involving 139 male participants with CP/CPPS. Over a 12-week period, seven patients received Schonton, while 69 were given a placebo. Researchers assessed the outcomes based on pain levels, quality of life, and NIH-CPSI scores. The results showed that patients treated with Schonton experienced significant improvements in their symptoms compared to those in the placebo group. Additionally, the treatment was well-tolerated, with only a low incidence of adverse effects reported. This promising development could offer new hope for men suffering from chronic pelvic pain and may lead to more effective treatment options in the future. Meditech Medical Network.
