1. 2. If a specific group of planting arms fails to operate, it could be caused by a broken drive shaft inside the chain box or a missing or broken chain. Remedy: Reattach the chain or replace the drive shaft as needed to restore normal function.

3. Issues with the switchboard may arise from wear on the slider or chute, loose fixing bolts at both ends of the sliding door, deformation of the doorway, an overly high lift, rusted caster wheels, or deformed caster wheel screws. Remedy: Replace the roller and screw first, then check the slider and chute for severe wear—replace them if necessary. Adjust or tighten the door fixing screws. If the door is worn, add a rectangular gasket. If the handle is too high, lift the front end and install a new bumper.

4. A non-working mechanism can occur when the pin or spiral shaft is worn, or when the sliding sleeve’s fixing bolt is missing. Remedy: Open the gear cover and replace the faulty pin or spiral shaft. If the sliding sleeve bolt is missing, reinstall it properly.

5. If the seedling lift back end is too high, it might be because the rubber buffer block is missing or damaged. Remedy: Use a screwdriver to lift the front end of the handle and install a new bumper to restore proper height.

6. The feeding shaft may not rotate due to a fallen ratchet wire pin, worn ratchet wheel groove, a missing pawl or torsion spring, or a shifted crucible shaft. Remedy: First check if the ratchet, pawl, and torsion spring are intact. If damaged or missing, replace them. Then turn the feed screw—if the ratchet rotates but the shaft doesn’t, the wire pin may have fallen off and needs to be reinstalled.

7. A small rotation angle of the feeding shaft is often caused by severe wear on the peach wheel and feeding cam. Remedy: Open the working gear cover and replace the worn components with new ones.

If the feeding shaft does not work, it may be due to a damaged or missing positioning key on the peach-shaped wheel, the peach-shaped wheel being stuck with the feeding cam, or a broken or missing feeding cam wire pin. Remedy: If the parts are misaligned, it may be due to wear between the shuttlecock and peach-shaped wheel. Remove the affected parts and smooth their surfaces with a guillotine blade. Severe wear requires replacement. If the key or pin is damaged, replace it with a new one.

9. Intermittent operation of the feeding shaft can occur when the return force of the peach-shaped wheel or feeding cam spring is weak, preventing them from returning to their correct positions. Remedy: Open the working gearbox cover, remove the two return springs, and replace them with new ones to restore proper function.

10. A stuck positioning clutch handle may result from the separation cam wearing down and getting stuck with the adjustment nut. Remedy: Remove the separation cam and use a grinding wheel or file to smooth the cam face into a rounded arc for better movement.

11. Incomplete separation of the main clutch can occur due to adhesion between the friction plate and pulley, loose positioning screws causing the clutch pin to shift, or serious wear on the clutch pin. Remedy: Remove the pulley assembly, separate the glued parts, clean the friction plate with sandpaper, and replace the clutch pin. Tighten the positioning screws to ensure stability.

12. Incomplete separation of the positioning clutch may also be caused by improper adjustment of the adjustment nut, slipping between the release pin and adjustment nut, wear on the positioning cam, or breakage of the tension spring (used in fork-type clutches). Inspection method: Open the positioning and separation cover to check if the adjustment nut is correctly positioned, if the release pin and nut are slipping, or if the tension spring is broken. If no issues are found, remove the power output shaft assembly and check the condition of the teeth on the positioning flange. Remedy: Adjust the adjustment nut to the correct position. If the pin or nut is slipping, replace it. Replace the tension spring if necessary. If the positioning cam is worn, the separating teeth can be slightly adjusted by about 0.5 mm. For severe wear, the component should be replaced entirely.
