How to install the rotary vane vacuum pump

1. Installation:
.1) After unpacking, carefully remove the rotary vane vacuum pump , and prepare the accessories and instructions. Remove the filler and wipe off the surface dust and grease on the pump. Count the number by packing list.
.2) The rotary vane vacuum pump is installed in a clean, well ventilated, well-lit room. Depending on the application, the pump should be installed in ample space. For operation and maintenance, the rotary vane vacuum pump can be placed on a solid and flat ground without special foundation. If it needs to be fixed, additional screws and foundation can be fixed. If it is close to precision instruments, consider adding anti-shock device.
3) Connect the pumped container with a vacuum hose or flange. If flanged, the flange should have a rubber ring groove.
A) The 2X-0.5 to 2X-8 pumps can be connected to the air inlet with a hose.
B) The 2X-8A to 2X-70 pump flange is connected to the air inlet.
The diameter of the pipe connecting the pumped container should not be less than the diameter of the inlet of the rotary vane vacuum pump. The pipe should be short and the joint should be less. Otherwise, the pumping speed should be affected, and the leakage of the pipe joint should be small. The amount of gas in the pumped container should be compatible with the pumping speed of the pump, and the pumping speed of the pump
4) according to the motor voltage and the wiring plate as shown manner connected to power, and suggested in order to avoid overload safety device determines the direction of motor rotation, the pump should be consistent with the direction of the arrow.
5) Remove the exhaust plug and install the exhaust hood, or remove the cover on the exhaust nozzle, and connect the cooling water to the water source.
6) Care should be taken during installation to prevent foreign objects such as iron filings from falling into the pump.

2. Debugging
1) For the first installation of the rotary vane vacuum pump, the test run should be done first. At this time, the pump should have no improper installation vibration and no special impact sound. The motor should not be overloaded. The oil temperature and ultimate pressure should meet the technical specifications.
2) Continue to start 1-2 times, observe whether there is abnormal sound and special vibration during operation, and it can run continuously without any problem.
3) Note that the oil level should be between the two oil marking lines of the sight glass. If the oil quantity is too large, it will cause difficulty in starting, oil return, oil injection and other undesirable phenomena. If it is less, it will affect the vacuum degree. When the oil is insufficient, it should be refueled. Note that the pump oil that has been stopped for a long time should naturally drop, and the oil level will rise after the pump is continuously operated.
4) Turn on the cooling water.
5) Open the valve on the inlet of the rotary vane vacuum pump. The size of the opening depends on the specific conditions.
6) When there is water vapor in the pumped gas, the aeration valve should be opened, or after the water vapor is removed, the aeration valve can be opened when the pump oil is purified. To reduce the noise of the 2X-8 pump, it may be slightly Open the aeration valve.
7) 2X series vacuum pump is a high-vacuum mechanical pump. The suction port of the pump must be installed with a valve to avoid oil return. It is best to install the model DDC-JQ electromagnetic flush valve. Its action function is synchronous with the motor. If the electromagnetic valve of the machine is not installed and other types of valves are installed, the valve of the air inlet should be closed first, then the pump should be stopped, the water should be stopped, and the pump should be deflated according to the venting valve.

3. Use
1) Precautions during use
A often pay attention to the oil level.
Slowly open the valve after the B pump is started.
C often pay attention to whether the pump is moving normally, whether there is any special sound, and whether the motor is overloaded.
D Pay attention to whether the cooling water is interrupted.
E Note that the pump temperature rise does not exceed 40 °C.
F If the pump temperature drops below 5 °C after stopping, the cooling water in the rotary vane vacuum pump must be removed.

2) In-use safety matters, such as the use of pumps to remove toxic and corrosive ferrous gases, super-chemically variable gases to the rotary vane vacuum pump, and gas above normal temperature and dust, should be installed in the intake pipe. It should be used together with the cooling and filtering related devices. Otherwise, it will affect the performance and life of the rotary vane vacuum pump. When removing harmful gases to the human body, the corresponding pipeline should be installed and the exhaust gas should be taken to the outside for industrial treatment.
