Description:Â Anti coagulation, anti allergy category of new drugs. Can be used for urticaria, eczema, allergic contact dermatitis, skin itching and other allergic reactions. Urticaria, eczema, allergic and contact dermatitis, skin itching, rhinitis, bronchial asthma, migraine. Also used for Ke Xing disease and acromegaly.
H1 receptor antagonist effects than chlorpheniramine, promethazine, and had moderate resistance of 5 hydroxytryptamine effect and anti cholinergic effect. In addition, clinical findings, new uses of cyproheptadine and treatment of mumps etc, studies show that H1 antagonistic effects of cyproheptadine hydrochloride by more than 5 times stronger than chlorpheniramine.
The prohibition of the use in feed and animal drinking water substanceThe Ministry of agriculture in December 27, 2010 Notice No. 1519th listed as banned from use in feed and animal substances in drinking water.
Application:
Clinically cyproheptadine hydrochloride is mainly used for acute and chronic urticaria (especially it has a good effect on cold urticaria ), papular urticaria, angioedema, atopic eczema, contact dermatitis, food allergy, drug allergy, allergic rhinitis, hay fever, allergic conjunctivitis, allergic to insect stings and migraine.
It has some therapeutic effect on bronchial asthma . It is acceptable for the adjuvant treatment of Cushing's syndrome, acromegaly. In addition,as an appetite enhancer,it is used for neuropathic fear of food. There are reports about acanthosis nigricans treatment, prevention of necrotizing pyoderma.
